Isokratia builds upon democracy but surpasses the weaknesses and dangers of democracy. Under the Isokratic system no single individual and no single group can ever gain absolute power. Isokratia extends the horizons of socio governing enabling the people to be the decision makers in all matters and the representative governments to be the executioners of the people’s true wishes. Visit www.isokratia.com Why should you bother reading Isokratia? You and every other voter will have he ability to vote in all decisions and government policies. No one will ever be able to come and tell to you “circumstances have changed and now in my opinion this is the best for the people”. Your vote will be more frequent but your vote will count. You will be able to change a prime minister or a president instantly or within a few days. No more fixed periods of getting stuck with any one even when they abuse their power. They all start with good intentions but power always corrupts!! With Isokratia I lay down the foundations and open the big discussions. I lay down the principle pillars of new socio governings, radical new economic policies, radical new mechanism of mass media practices, new pillars of global governings and economics. One of the powerful characteristics of Isokratia is the fact that it can be adopted in different formats by different countries, different local authorities, different organizations. Each country can develop it’s own style and structure accommodating their own and unique culture within the new Isokratic governing system. There is no straight jacket for all to wear the same in Isokratia. Isokratia is written by Chris Neophytou, a Greek Cypriot business man who lived in London for 35 years. You will find more as to who is Chris Neophytou in the web site www.isokratia.com Isokratia sailing voyage: The release of Isokratia is symbolically con incited with the voyage Chris Neophytou is making right now. The voyage is made with his sailing Catamaran also named Isokratia after the new socio governing system. The voyage is named “from Hell to Paradise” because it begun from Thailand and it will end in Greece. Thailand is symbolic because of the low living standards but mainly because of a danger arising within democracy. In Thailand the democratically elected government with their absolute power granted they have abused the system so much in favour of their own personal economic gains that the military intervene a few months ago and as a result there is still a military government in Thailand. One of the dangers of Democracy. Within Isokratia the governing officials will never be able to amaze power but also the military will never be able to intervene. Paradise is symbolic of Greece because Greece was the birth place of Democracy and also because the whole set up and culture in Greece and he Greek islands is the real paradise! Chris Neophytou, author of Isokratia has departed from Phuket the Thailand island on the 1st of February 2007 with a final destination Cyprus and then Greece. The journey will be captained by Chris Neophytou.. Although fully qualified, his experience is very limited but he had to learn very fast!! He is accompanied by his wife Chrysta Neophytou, Christopher Read another qualified Yacht master with just a little bit more experience than Chris!), Jui the Thailand boat boy , and George Neophytou Chris younger son who will join him for the legs between Maldives and Red Sea.. All a bunch of amateurs which makes the voyage more challenging and more advernturous! Pirate encounters for real: Isokratia already experienced their first pirate encounters east of Sri Lanka. It was a classic attempt as stated by many passed experiences of others. So small boat with powerful engines for it’s size, approach disguised as fishing boat with six men onboard . They tried to gain entry on the boat on false pretence of wanting to buy cigarettes or drinks then to sell fish ( but hey had no fish to show!) then they wanted to buy the Yamaha outboard engine hanging at the back of Isokratia. After about 10 minutes of nerve braking chit chat with Chris who was on watch at the time , when they refused o go away and finally when they approached too close to make the jump on Isokratia to jump on board Chris call the other two men crew to wake up and come outside to show themselves. Fortunately the pirates when they saw more people on board tailed Isokratia for another 10 minutes and then decided to change course. When reported to the naval authorities, the officers confirmed that there still many such groups of pirates operating in their water . Sometimes they even disguise themselves as navy officers in order to gain entry on board a private yacht . Then once onboard they make their attack! Find more of this incident on www.isokratia.com The journey: The journey will take Isokratia, the sailing catamaran, from Phuket in Thailand to Greece via the Indian Ocean. Stops will be made in Galle in Sri Lanka, the Maldives Islands where Chris’ younger son George will join the crew. Following a few days of island hopping in the Maldives, Isokratia will head for Uligamu, the north island of the Maldives where a stop will be made for additional provisions and refueling. Leaving Uligamu island, Isokratia will then sail across to the Arabian sea. It will pass outside the Pirate infested Somalian island of Socotra and enter the mouth of the Red Sea before heading on for a stop at either Aden or Djibouti. Weather conditions and fuel will determine this stop. The sailing will then continue along the length of the Red Sea, passing through the gates of sorrow and through the straights of Bab El Mandeb, and to the Suez Canal in Egypt. Possible stops along the way of Red Sea will be Port Sudan and Sharn El Sheik, Egypt. After passing through the Suez canal, Isokratia will head for Cyprus, the birth place of Chris Neophytou. At Cyprus, a stop is planned for a week or two. Isokratia will then sail away to cross through to the “world paradise” which is non other than the Greek islands before heading to the final destination - Athens. Full details of the sailing passage will be shown on the main pages of www.isokratia.com where the route and present position of Isokratia will be tracked. Whenever possible, some photos will be up loaded for viewing in these pages. Chris invites you to subscribe to receive the Isokratia newsletter which is offered Free of charge.
